About The Author

“I began to think about becoming a professional writer in seventh grade,” Bill says. “My dad was between jobs and needed a temporary source of income, so he tried his hand as a freelance writer. As far as I know, Dad never published anything, but the image of him sitting at our dining room table in Minnesota, looking over the crab apple tree in the backyard, captivated me. I pictured myself enjoying a free, relaxed lifestyle as an independent writer. Now, 90 published books later, I’ve discovered there is much more to professional writing than I ever imagined.”
